🌊 VDI / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
I've had the opportunity to work on VDI technology. It's very interesting because it's a solution that you can use to provide users an alternative to work remotely. It's a non-persistent desktop which makes sense for maintenance and this is standard specs from what I've gathered: 32GB Memory, 8 Virtual CPUs and 4GB GPU.
If we refer back to the CIA Triad, I can see how it honours Confidentiality and Availability but I didn't quite have the necessary access or time to look into how it honours Integrity if it's not a persistent desktop. Overall, it was pretty stable and I'm honestly impressed. If I wasn't caught up on my current focus during time of writing, this definitely would've been an interesting project.
