I learnt so much from YouTube. It's also my favourite platform on the web when I'm not playing a Chess game. These are my top picks for Cyber Security content creators.
1. Naomi Brockwell: NBTV
Naomi Brockwell's very good at using conversational english with cyber security knowledge. Her content is very easy to digest when having a break after a long day of work.
2. All Things Secured
I like the consistent bite sized and engaging format of this channel. I never want to feel as though I'm sitting down in a lecture hall when listening to Cyber Security. The style of this channel ensures that doesn't happen. He also tackles very practical topics that can be useful for work and personal auditing.
3. David Bombal
Speaking of practical and bite sized, David Bombal's shorts are phenomenal. I like that his content has the ability to motivate anyone to try out a quick hack.
4. Grant Collins
He's the first Cyber Security content creator I've discovered. While there might be better technical channels out there if you're just starting out but Grant Collins is really good at articulating the more human side of the industry. He always shares perspective that I've found valuable.
5. Mad Hat
I like Mad Hat for the same reasons I enjoy Grant Collins' content. He's very personable and tackles the realities of a Cyber Security role.
6. Professor Messer
As far as CompTIA related material go, he is the best in the game. He has really good streams and his organised approach makes his content a good second source for Cyber Security technical content.
7. Hack5
If you're looking for a demonstration driven Cyber Security YouTube channel with complexities, this is the right channel for you. They also have good content for the Cyber News.
Honorary mention!
Kitboga is the most entertaining scam baiter I know. He's also very creative with his Phishing tactics. A must-watch for anyone who's in Cyber Security that finds satisfaction in exploiting criminals.
